Sky breaches the contract and no solution offered
Hi everyone,
I renewed my contract with sky broadband on 9th July 2025. It was supposed to be £32.50 for 300mbps broadband. They charged me £40.50 last month and I said maybe because of renewal they charged me some admin fees. Then, they sent this month's bill which is £40.50 again. I checked the confirmation email and it was £32.50. Please see below.
What surprised and disappointed me the most was the attitude of their customer service team when I contacted them. They stated that there was no existing offer for the price I had agreed to and that they could only offer me a different package starting from today—meaning my previous overpayments would not be compensated. As a lawyer, I find this attitude appalling; it reflects a clear breach of contract and a complete lack of accountability. Their dismissive approach and failure to take this issue seriously are, frankly, disgraceful. Please also see the below screenshot of my conversation with the customer services. Now, I cannot even contact them and it says live chat is unavailable.
