Sky Sport confusion for upgrade on screen

Can someone help me understand the Sky Spirts upgrade.
I have a Sky cinema package etc and don't want to renew my contract.
on screen states I can have a rolling monthly for £27, however when you go on line it states any upgrade to sky sports will mean a new 18 month contract.
I just want to watch next few months football to end of season.
Unfortunately Sky are very unclear on the £27 deal.  It even jumps to £32 before you confirm, so it goes up £5 with no apparent reason.  Frustrating and very concerning that it's all so unclear.

@Diddy1 it is how it says you can get the sports on a rolling contract but doing so starts a new minimum term of the basic subscription which is a pre requisite to having any additional packages
