Sky Scam identity fraud and no support from Sky

My name is vishal. someone had opened account on my name and previous  address. This has added 1260£ credit missed payment on my account and impacted my credit report from SKy mobile.
I was not called  communicated or asked for anything related and do not have any sky account. i raised and called sky 10 times now in past 2 months but nothing has been done. THey tel me everytime it will be resolved in 24 hours.
This is total harrassment and now i can not buy anything in credit due to missed payments that also twice since august and september reducing my credit score from 999 to 752.
 
I am full distress and harrased as i can nnot buy anything in credit due to two missed payment from Sky which i have NOT been part of.
Can Sky please do something about this at the earliest.
 
I was told by Sky Tech on call team that their Fraud risk team doe NOT have any phone no to reach and i have had no email call from them at all on this. 
 
Sky doe not have any fraud complaint team on call to reach out to. I always end up speaking to Sky tech team who can not do anything.
 
I wasl also chased by BPO team to pay funds which i have not taken for this fraud.
 
I have recorded this to action fraud  as well.
 
Please register my complaint as many like me are left in dark and have to go through this without any of our fault.
There has been no communication from Sky at all on this matter.

@vishp1 sorry to read this. Unfortunately we're a community of customers and it's unlikely that Sky will respond to your post here.

 

Sky do have a fraud team who are, I imagine, investigating. It's not uncommon for them to remain silent until their investigations are complete. As you've found, it's not possible to speak to them directly.

 

Given the length of time this has been ongoing. I'd suggest raising a complaint in writing: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint

the link you send is for complain on sky broadcast. I have been calling every week and being told different  answers that 24 hours they will sort all this.

 

there is no official chat or  email they monitor. i ahve sent multipl email to abuse@sky.com but no response.

That's typically an address relating specifically to website, email and network administration, not wider customer complaints or other issues.

The link is correct. You can complain by provate message or email but I'd recommend the 'write to us' option in the circumstances.

I did call that number for ocmplaint and was given a refernce number 2 month back but that was the end of it. nothing happened on that.no email calls from them at all. when i called same number 2nd time i was told 24 hours fraud team will call you and sort it.Again nothing happened. I have sent meail to financial ombudsman as well now. I just need to get my credit score sorted from Sky  when they remove these missed payments. Not sure what checks of identity sky has that someone who has no access to my address or my email or my phone can do this scam.  they only had my previous address and name

it doesn't as i do not have any Sky account. AS thats a different  type of fraud.

TO BE HONEST SKY MOILE SERVICES ARE DISGUSTING I CAN NOT REACH ANY ONE ON THE TEL, I HAVE INFORMED THEM ON THE 22/07/25 THAT THERE IS A FRAUD UNDER MY NAME SOME ONE ORDERED A MOBILE AND SINCE NO ONE HAS CONTACT ME FRAUD DEPT HAS NO TEL WHO SHALL I CONTACT OR DIRECT TEL NO

No one will / can phone you. Your Community tag name isn't linked to any Sky accounts you have so no one knows who you are. You need to initiate contact with Sky.


These are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

over 3 months ago  have informed sky mobile that there is a FRAUD as i heve never had a contract with sky therefore my case hs gone to fraud dept but no single reply, 

need to speak someone as my  credit score is going down plus your collector dept contacting me for payent

You need to contact the debt collection company directly if that's what you mean.

@HACI7  You've clearly not read @Daniel0210  post, this is a custiomer helps customer community, you are not talking to Sky customer services, no one can or will contact you on the back of a community post.  No one can identify who you are.

 

You've been provided with the correct advise, we can't take on your case for you, we are customers.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
