Sky Q and broadband contracts

I'm shortly going to be out of contract for Sky Q and intend to continue on a rolling monthly basis.

When my BT broadband contract ends in a few months, I would like to switch to Sky Superfast broadband. I understand that will be a new 24 month contract which is not a problem for what I regard as an essential service.

What I don't want is for that to somehow renew the Sky Q contract, which is a luxury service to me, with the ability to cancel being paramount.

Can I order broadband without it affecting  the Sky Q contract?

@Andym15 yes, you can. They're separate contracts.

But perhaps be wary that a sales advisor would almost certainly want to 'reduce your Sky bill' by bringing television back onto a minimum term because their screens will be prompting them to do so.

Perfect, that's what I hoped.
It's quite refreshing to hear in comparison to BT's seemingly aggressive stance on contract renewals whenever you query anything with them.
