Sky Mobile bill moved to credit

Hi, all. I have a query and don't know who to ask. I have paid my bill late and it has automatically moved to credit but I keep getting notifications from my bank (Monzo) that a payment has been declined because I haven't got 'enough funds' I payed it in full this afternoon but is on as credit and I don't know what to do!!

Apart from the credit was else shows regarding this bill, the reason I ask is manually paying the bill as you have done will see the payment you made appear on your account as a credit if Sky has also took the payment from you via your payment method so have they also taken it or attempted to ?

Yes, I believe Sky had attempted to take it out. I have checked my account and it doesn't say the payment is late anymore but it does still comes up as credit. I am guessing it should properly update within a few days

@Cam3ron20x

Can you post an image of this bill and if you do please blank out your account number and if present credit agreements numbers and your name and any phone numbers.

This bill has been paid, as it was £49.75 so as you made a payment of £49.75 and Sky also took the same amount this is why your £49.75 is now appearing as a credit that should be used to pay your next bill so going forward you should not need to make any maual payments. The payment Sky took has been used to pay the bill.

Re: Sky Mobile bill moved to credit

Not to be rude but they couldn't have tho because I had no funds in the account until today for them to take. That is why I am confused, because the bill was only paid today when it was due the 20th

The 20th was a Sunday and 21st was a bank holiday. Today (22nd) would be the first day the payment would be attempted.  If that fails then it is retried 10 days later.

Any manual payments you make are against next month's bill and the payment will still likely be reattempted in early May.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

When a bill is paid the balance part should show as £0,  but as yours shows a credit and that the money paid against the bill was double what the bill total was suggests it has been paid or is in the process of being paid now.
