Please could anyone help with this problem? I signed up for Sky Q today and booked installation for a future date. I was previously a Sky customer around 4 years ago. After placing the order, it asked me to create a Sky ID. My phone remembered my old login details so I logged in with those. However, it won't allow me to watch Sky Go with this existing ID. I contacted Sky who advised I needed to 'unlink' the old account to be able to access Sky Go on the new account. I've logged in to try to do this but it doesn't show any option to 'unlink'.
How do I unlink the old account and then set up a new Sky ID to access Sky Go?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Robbo2179 If you left Sky and are rejoining after more than 12 months away your old account would have been closed and a new one created
If you want to use the same email address as the old account you need to remove and replace it with a different address on the old account first
You can do this yourself via this link

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe usual way around this is to create a new Sky ID to which you'll be able to link your new Sky account number. I haven't yet come across a way to successfully unlink an old account from an existing Sky ID.
You won't be able to use the same email address, so either remove the email address from your old Sky ID (it won't matter what you muse to replace it with) or use a different email address for your new Sky ID.
