Sky Cinema put on without my permission!

So I noticed my bill had jumped up and went to check my billing and found I have sky Cinema on it charging £19. I never use sky cinema so didn't even notice. I immediately rang up to get it cancelled and a credit of the money back to my account. First thing the guy asked was had we had an engineer visit recently. It was around May we had sky fibre installed. So I said yes and the guy did ask as he was near out the door do I want a discount on sky cinema he has and I said no. Someone was with me and knows I said no. I told the guy on the phone it was w hile back thinking this was the first time I'd been charged and we ended the call agreeing it would be removed and my £19 credited. 

 

Went back thorugh my bills and it was put on in June charging me £0, July £6 twice on that bill. August £6 and Septe,ber £19. I was told to wait a week and check my bill for the credit so I will and if it's not the whole lot I'll ring again.

 

My question is how can they have the autority to make this change to my account. I clearly said no I did not want it discount or not. We just don't use it. I'm quite angry tbh.

Thank you, I will do that now. The guy on the phone said they would credit my money back as a goodwill gesture! I never said I wanted it.

Yes this has happened to me.

Had SkyHD put on without my permission.

Sky called me today to offer a account review to save me money. I declined as was at work and busy. I then receive multiple emails telling me that I have changed my package and charging me more. Dysfunctional much!

Late reply but what happened after 7 days? I'm having the same trouble now. Sky Cinema was charged on my bill for £19 even though I didn't add it. Called Sky but was told it would take 31 days to remove it. I said I didn't even add it and wanted  to cancel my account. They then said it would be removed after 7 days. 4 days in and it's still showing on my bill. Worse thing is I can't even access the Cinema channels.
