Sky Broadband/Now Broadband: division of prodect
I have just been informed i am out of contract with the latter(no notice, so fuming) , so I went to former to see about prices, if i could just continue with packages, etc. I created an ID, logged , it then tells me "there is already a line with SKY, but how? I am technically out of contract, though still have a connection. It then tells me to log in, I am, and there is no option to look at S/Broadband offers. I then spoke to someone at N/Broadband who put me onto Sky, and then I got cut off at 8pm, so no clear answers.
Oh, and it was a nightmare trying to find a customer service number for Sky

'division of products'
in other words, i believe they are now one company, but with different products, which is strange

They're separate companies within the same group.

You don't need an account to see the Sky Broadband offers which can be seen on the Sky website, should you sign up then they will do the work of changing your broadband from Now to Sky.

Re: Sky Broadband/Now Broadband: division of prodect
@FRENETIK25 So whilst NOW Broadband is a separate company the Sky online system does detect NOW broadband as being a Sky broadband service meaning that NOW customers seemingly can't sign up to Sky online and have to call.
I had the exact the issue back in November I was a NOW Broadband customer and wanted to see what broadband deal I could get through Sky but couldn't do it online due to this very issue. I called Sky to get a price and was able to negoitate with them whilst on the call as well. I went in knowing what price I would get if i was able to sign up online via one of the broadband comparison sites, so I had that in mind when i called them.
