Sky Broadband Account Password (Not Login Password)
I need to talk to Sky Broadband technical help on the phone. However I am goung around in circles as it seems that the Account Password (apparently the one that was set up when we originally got Sky Broadband in 2014). I wrote it down and it is in the file here at home, however with my three attempts on each call, I am being told that "that is not the correct Password!). I cannot make up a guessed Password as that is the one both my husband and I wrote down in 2014. However, I am being told, several times now, that it is incorrect and this is so frustrating.
- I cannot see a way to change the account password online or in the SkyApp. Apparently the login in password that i use to get into the account on the App or online is NOT the same as the ACCOUNT password which is the one used/given in the original setup of the Broadband Account.
- ALSO: The security question is never one that we would have chosen. I can see in the App that it is "What is the name of your first line manager?" There is no way that we set that up as we do not have a clue about that!
We chose as our security question "Mother's Maiden Name"..... I cannot see a way of changing that either and I cannot get beyond telephine security with Sky Customer Services because the Account Password that I know and have written down is apparently "not the one".
Any help on this please? Very grateful for any resolutions ASAP!

@Esther-Matthew Try calling back and ignoring all prompts to engage with the bot stay on the phone for as long as possible and you should eventually be put into a queue to speak to an agent who can use other checks to identify you and reset the password
