Update to my post 6 March. Following my 2 phone calls to Sky I made an online complaint, reply from Help Centre merely confirmed that all customers' Signature was going up £4 and my question about the Signature Price Protection Offer was ignored. I replied asking specifically about Price Protection Offer - reply came back saying that it was £3.70 but now only 0.70p. I replied again asking  where can I see that the PPOffer had been applied to my account, and when would I have been notified that it was reducing in April - reply came back saying I should see all details about the Offer in my account (incorrect it is not there) and ignored my question about when would I have been notified that the Offer was ending/reducing.

On 10 March I therefore called again to say that after 8 contacts with Sky (2 calls, 3 emails, 3 replies) I still hadn't received a clear answer about the Signature Price Protection Offer and I am making a formal complaint - the agent agreed with my concerns then passed me on to another agent who initially said my £7 Signature rise had nothing to do with a Price Protection Offer, then towards the end of the conversation (47 mins) mentioned the PPOffer again. After stating again that I do not consider that my £7 Signature rise (compared to £4 for all customers) is not justified, that I have been inconvenienced by contradictory replies over a total of 78 minutes phone calls plus 6 email contacts, I asked how Sky would want to resolve the issue. The answer was that the case would be passed to the Back Office who will contact me within the next 7 working days.

You need to speak to the Customer Priority Team like I did, everyone else doesn't seem to know what they are talking about. As I said in my message above on 6th March, Sky Signature is not going up by £4 it is going up by £1 to £37.50. This has been confimed in my future bills on my account.

Then someone misinformed you. The Base Price of Sky Signature is most definitely going up from £36.50 to £40.50

This has been confirmed by Sky in various areas, including the closed area of this forum

I can only state what was said by the person from the Sky Priority Team that phoned me and went through my account and bills. If you are correct and it has gone up £4 it does not match what he told me and if he did misinform me as you state then how come my future bills all show my new base price as £37.50? I would show a snapshot of my bill proving this if it was possible on here, but it isn't. It would seem odd to me that a person from this team would get this wrong and give me a cheaper price than everyone else, but I guess we will see what happens once we get to the new bills being sent out in April. In the meantime I am going to download copies of everything just in case my bills change once we get into April and I need to escalate my original complaint to OFCOM.

Most people here including myself are getting £4 increases on Signature. This is showing on my future bills and in the email from Sky about the price rise.

Yes that is what I hear as well. But it doesnt match what I was told and what is in my future bills. The reason I started this post was because my e-mail from Sky said my Signature was going up £6, while I had heard everyone elses was going up £4! This is why I raised a complaint which ended up being escalated to the Sky Priority Team who arranged a phone call with me at my convenience. The guy I spoke to told me Signature was going up £1 from £36.50 to £37.50 and this is what is showing in my bills. If this is wrong and they change my bills again I have them all saved as pdf files and will then take this up with Ofcom.

As I understand it, you can only speak to the Customer Priority team if you've been assigned to them. Indeed, once assigned to them, they're the only team you can speak to.

Something a bit strange is going on...  From this forum I've seen rises of £4, £5, £6 for signature - never £1...

The list price has changed from £36.50 to £40.50, i.e. the +£4 but I haven't fathomed out why others are different

Sky's billing system is a bit strange

You can say that again! None of this makes sense. Surely we cannot have different base prices for the same service on our bills after April. Only time will tell. But I am beginning to wonder if my bills will change again.  But as I have said, I have downloaded them after speaking to the Customer Priority Team and I also have their phone number to call them direct if need be to go through all of this yet again. It gets tedious every 18 now 24 months to have to go through this with Sky. I think at the end of my current contract it will be goodbye and I will stick to freesat and streaming services that you can turn on and off when you want, so much easier!!!

31 days notice to leave is correct unless you are bound by a minimum term.

Honestly you need to do what I did which was to escalate this as a complaint. I was conatcted b the customer priority team, they sorted this for me. Look back in the threads and you will see that my Signature is going up £1, but they are giving me an extra £1 discount. So although the e-mail from Sky about the price increase said my total bill was going up £10 per month (£3 for broadband and £1 for tv-addon and £6 for Signature) it is now going up £6.49 (£3.49 for netflix and £3 for braodband), plus it isn't going up until June! I received a follow up e-mail two days days confirming this change in writing.
