Signed up to broadband, no details available...
So, on Thursday evening, I clicked through a Quidco offer to try and sign up to Sky Full Fibre broadband.
I kept getting an error telling me I had to call as they were unable to complete it online.
This has meant the price being slightly higher and missing out on the Quidco cashback and an £80 voucher too.
However, they got it sorted online and I had an email through as well as a text with a link "with all the steps to get you set up with your new Sky Products".
Having clicked through set it up, there's still no product details showing in the account when I login, or, when I check my old login details for my previous TV account (not had it for a few years now).
The installation date for the broadband is apparently going to be 7th November.
What I'm wondering though, is, should the details already be showing when I login, and also get notification of the DD dates etc too?
Or will they only appear once the broadband is activated?

Have you linked your broadband acount to your Sky ID as per this:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-id-cant-access-all-my-services
Your old TV account will have be closed after you cancelled these services so will be of no use here apart from removing the email address from it if you have also used it for your new Sky ID.

Should I have been sent any further details in order to link it?

At the very least I would have though you would have received some information regarding the activation date along with the details of your account number. You might want to call Sky about the order status.

Re: Signed up to broadband, no details available...
All I've had were a verbal confirmation about the activation date, 7th Dec.
Two emails, contract summary and key facts. I clicked the key facts one to confirm while on the call.
Two texts.
One that said "Hi. Need help with your new Sky Broadband connection? Just follow the steps at sky.com/newbb" and one that said "Here's a link with all the steps to get you set up with your new Sky Products www.sky.com/skywelcome *Data charges may apply"
The £5 upfront fee they took is out of my account.
