Short term or temp account after death of account holder

Is it possible to have a basic internet connection for a temp period following death of account holder while sorting probate/ house clearance. It would be really useful to have an internet connection as we live a long way away so are staying at the property intermittently but we don't need the full existing tv package and of course don't want to take out a new 12 or 18 month contract ( existing holder is out of contract) . Thanks

@Katen1 you would need to report the accountholder's death to Sky, so that would be the opportunity to discuss your ongoing options: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/deceased-sky-account-holder?authenticationStatus=ok

Realistically I'm afraid that's extremely unlikely even given those circumstances.   ISPs on the national telecoms network incur significant set-up costs to obtain wholesale circuits (includes after a change of account holder) and these are recouped over the minimum contract term which is now 24 months for Sky Broadband in the UK.

Cellular data from a portable hotspot (if there's sufficient coverage locally) is probably a more viable solution.
