Sharp Practice unbecoming of SKY

Just signed up for a New Contract, not too unhappy about the price but it can always be better. Not even 3 days into the "deal" and I get an email increasing my Signature Package by £4 per month because "April Increases"

should have waited longer to renegotiate..... won't be doing this any longer SKY, Virgin and EE are already cabled to outside my premises for next time.......

Unfortunately if you leave Sky after your new 24 month deal (there will no doubt be another increase in April 2026) you'll benefit from a competitors new customer deals, but when that ends you end up in the same position after 18/24 months.

Re: Sharp Practice unbecoming of SKY

There is no such thing as loyalty from a company to a customer and likewise there should be no perceived loyalty from a customer to a company either.

The best way to say money is to move provider at the end of every contract and take advantage of as many "new customer" sign up deals as possible.

Company's are there to make as much money as possible, Full stop

The new customer sign up deals is a game that's there to be played to your advantage

You have 31 days cooling off if you want to cancel for free.
