Well done, I actually gave them a spare email address I use for junk mail, then they phoned me back asking for the email to my sky account, which is actually in my husbands name. They got told where they could shove their offer 🤣

Just took a call claiming to be for Sky services offering a40% discount but I've just changed contract! Called from a mobile number. Indian guy with a noisy background. Told them I don't have sky!! Cad calls to my land line in recent weeks and they got seriously abusive when I told them they're not really calling me from Sky.. Not good!

Thieves and criminals used to have to put themselves out now they just go to work in a suit for bigger thieves and steal more than the Great Train Robbers every day.
These calls and bogus text messages are getting more prevalent.
BELIEVE NO ONE!!!!
Pity that the Beekeepers is a fantasy.

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/account-takeover
If you receive an unexpected parcel from Sky get in touch with our customer services team immediately. We can give advice on what to do. Don’t send the parcel anywhere except our returns address.
We’ll give you pre-paid returns packaging to send the parcel back to us.

Just had one of these calls offering me 50% discount. They asked for my password which I said I couldnt remember so they sent an email with a password reset on it. I checked the email address it came from and it seemed the correct one so I changed the password. I later cottoned on that this was not a genuine sky call as they started wanting my date of birth and telling me I was getting an apple watch as a gift! I would not give any more info and quickly changed my sky account password again. I rang sky customer services and they confirmed that they had not rung me. My question is if I receive an apple phone or iwatch should I refuse to accept delivery?

Yes you are able to refuse the delivery but it is best you call sky, as that is what I did and they said I shouldn't refuse it but keep it and then they would send me a different packaging. But the order was then cancelled by sky and returned and it didn't get to me again. So I would suggest you just call them and explain and if the scammers call you just block them or maybe save the details and make a police report
