SKy Cinema £6 per month for 2 years deal

Has anyone been offered a deal for 2 years for Sky Cinema for £6? I recently discontinued Cinema from my package then received a card through the post saying that I could have the Cinema package for £6 if I signed up to it for 2 years. So I did... but now I can see that they are trying to charge me £12 per month. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Did this card say what you had to do to get the discounted offer added to your account, so did you do tjis by calling or going online ?

The card had a QR code on it so I used that and it seemed work straight away

If your future bills also show as £12 then all you can do is to take this up with Sky support by calling them.

So I did call them and they denied any knowledge of the offer or that I had signed up to this even though I showed them documented proof. Therefore I immediately unsubscribed from Sky Cinema which they immedately allowed me to do even though I was actually in a contracted period with them. That was strange in itself.

Its the first time I've had a bad experience with Sky which is now leading me to start looking elsewhere for my TV and broadband for the first time in 18 years.

Hi @DavidGS  I am surprised that this is the first time, I always do this before agreeing to a new minimum term. I have done this for over 40 years.

I value good customer service and would pay a little more for it and until now Sky have always given me good customer service.  But it seems their quality is going down hill now.
