SKY equipment returns

HI,

I have returned my equipment and keep gettign emails saying you are going to take £53 from my account for non-return.

I have been a customer for 20+ years and find this totally unacceptable, attacked is the RECIEPT from the ROYAL MAIL that the equipment has been sent !

This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are here to try to help other customers. You aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services here.

Your thread has been temporarily removed as you've included the identifiable tracking number. It'll return once moderated.

Your image was rejected for the same reason.

You posted in the Sky+ board. Sky+ equipment is customer owned and doesn't need to be returned.

A £53 non return charge usually relates to a Sky Broadband hub. Is that what you have returned?

You still haven't confirmed which equipment you have returned.

We would usually be able to escalate this to Sky via the Messaging Team on here but I'm afraid the option is not available and we don't have an eta on its return.

With proof of posting you need to contact Sky by calling, Sky Assistant or social media to try to get this sorted out.

These are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …

🟩 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or a Sky Talk landline. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

🟩 online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.

🟩 Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

🟩 Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).

Note ~ ROI customers 🔹If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required. The Sky Ireland phone lines are closed at a weekend.

The returns process has been slow going for a couple of years but the methods for contacting Sky have been provided. As customers like yourself there's not a lot more we can do.

@andy+SKY-NO-GO

As explained already Sky+ boxes don't need returning. I presume you mean hub / Sky Q mini boxes x2 / remotes / Sky Q box etc

Re: SKY equipment returns

Returned what they asked for 'thier equipment' . Point is they deny they have received it when I have a Royal Mail receipt & containing them is almost impossible

As you have the necessary proof of posting your only option is to contact Sky.

Re: SKY equipment returns

Contacting sky direct is like finding unicorn droppings , [removed] part of the reason I've left after 20+ years , over priced, overrated, [removed]
it's worth paying the £53 to get them off my back lol 😂
