Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
I'm afraid as customers we've given you the advice needed to return the equipment and the potential consequences of failing to return it so you need to decide what you're going to do to sort this.

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
Hi @Skyblock I'm afraid that asking other customers for packaging, is never going to happen. Only Sky, or yourself can do that.

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
Sorry, just to clarify, I wasn't asking anybody for packaging apart from sky. I was only asking this community how I could get sky to communicate with me non-verbally as I am non-verbal and to get packaging ordered via SKY. again just to be clear I was not asking other sky customers to provide me with packaging! I'm outraged that I am expected to provide the packaging let alone go and ask another sky customer to provide it for me.

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
The advice to register with, and then contact the Accessibility Team, will provide you with means to contact Sky… whether it gets them to send out further packaging is another matter.

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
I believe so... would I still be registered with them although I've cancelled my broadband?

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
I presume so, but the advice to get a family member, friend or neighbour to get you some suitable packaging is surely cheaper that the non return fees.

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
I do appreciate what you are saying and it would be cheap for me to get somebody to pick packaging up but the issue is I shouldn't have to pay out my pocket when I'm cancelling because they overcharging me in the first place if they want their equipment back they should provide the means to do so without it costing me. It's not just a matter of money it's a matter of principle. They said they sent some packaging out but I haven't received it if other customers are receiving this service then why should I not? Why should I have to pay when others don't have to? That is my point that is what is upsetting me right now? I'm sorry if this makes no sense I find it hard to articulate properly.. What my brain says my mouth doesn't speak those same words although to me they do it's very confusing. I'm very very very very very much apologise

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
As I said in an earlier post the appropriate advice has been given including contacting the Accessibility Team and asking someone else to get you a suitable box. We just seem to be going over old ground here so I'll leave it with you.

Re: Return broadband equipment packaging
I apologise. I get fixated on a specific (so tend to repeat and get stuck on a loop) I don't realise I'm doing it until I take myself away from the conversation for awhile as I've just done.
I completely understand your advice and suggestions and take them on board.. I was replying to another commenter also and I realise I have @mentioned yourself rather than them on two of my replies that were for that person. I have spoken to a family member and they are going to call sky in the morning, failing that I'll be sending it in a sandwich bag and wrapped in tinfoil 😅😂
