Renewing my Sky Q contract is a nightmare. Can't speak with a human.

Hi, I'm trying to get my contract renewed before they double charge me each year as it end's. 

I. Don't want anything else, just renew it as it is  !.

Why do you have to phone them, when it could easily be renewed online  ?

Became that's the way Sky currently do it. If you’re no longer in a discounted minimum term, or its ending soon the best new discounts are normally acquired by calling Sky and negotiating or potentially amending your package which will now require a 24 month minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount, and recent posts on here indicate that significant discounts are now harder to come by. If you’re offered something acceptable be prepared to agree to it there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available when you call back.

 

If you have Sky+ (where you originally posted) Sky will suggest upgrading to Sky Q or changing to Stream/Glass which may even come with lower monthly payments.

 

In view of your Community log-in name, if you're in the ROI be aware that Sky Ireland Customer Services aren't open over the weekend so you need to contact them on Monday.
