I called Sky to discuss a renewal, we agreed a price but I didn't get any confirmation email with details neither it's showing in My Sky, how long does it take to get a confirmation email after a renewal? How can I be sure that the price discussed it's what will be for my contract renewal?

What does exempt from contract mean? The Sky help on the phone told me they couldn't roll my contract back to what it was after renewal, I thought it was 31 days cooling off period, and she said but I can offer you to be exempt from contract?

Find out moreIt might be that has they can't give you the same discount as before whatever you have now does not come with the usual 18 month contract meaning you have give the required notice to leave should you want to, so 31 days for TV and 14 for Talk/Broadband.

Sounds like you'll need to call Sky again to check that the deal has been applied.
Edited to add: creating two threads on essentially the same subject is confusing. I've added them together. From the other, now added, thread, it seems you don't have a deal but are on a rolling 31 days contract.
