Remove an old TV account from my Sky login

Hope someone can help, because I've tried to call and use self service but havent' been able to resolve yet.

Seems a simple thing to do, but My Sky app defaults to showing an old TV Account which is attached to my Sky iD.  I can not view latest bills or my products and services as it only shows the old account which is now dormant.

So I have two TV accounts and want to remove the old one, keeping the current active one.

Thanks,

Mark Bowen

@Anonymous If you left Sky and are rejoining after more than 12 months away your old account would have been closed and a new one created

If you want to use the same email address as the old account you need to remove and replace it with a different address on the old account first

You can do this yourself via this link

https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details#M1014

Once done your free to create a new sky id using the same email address here

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-id-start#M1014

if you no longer can't access the old account for whatever reason the only option is to use a different email (you can get free email accounts from the likes of gmail etc)

Re: Remove an old TV account from my Sky login

Many thanks for that.  I now understand that I needed to change the email address of the existing Sky ID to something else.  Then create a new Sky ID with my current email address.

The links didn't work - I had to call Sky and ask them to unlink the TV account from the old Sky ID, and have now transferred it over successfully.  Fortunately, the agent was very helpful and understood my ramblings!

Cheers @SKY1992bf
