Rejoining

I left Sky in December 2022 to join Virgin.  Virgin failed spectacularly.  I understand that I cannot rejoin Sky for 12 months from the endo of previous contract date.  Seems a bit bizarre as surely minimum contract term would apply in a ny case?

Re: Rejoining

I'm sure the rejoin after 12 months still applies.  It's worth contacting Sky CS:

To contact Sky, go to this link: https://www.sky.com/help/home

Scroll to the very bottom of the page and now select the Need More Help dropdown, this will lead to a phone contact.

Ignore the automated messages, just wait for an advisor

Good luck.

Why do you think that?

I think you are referring to be considered a 'new customer'.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

@DIRRFC

You can rejoin anytime you want. The 12 months you are referring to is if you are seen as a new customer or not. As you are returning after a few months of being away then you will usually be seen as a returning customer but you will need to call Sky about this.

If you are a returning customer then you should be able to continue to use your previous online account. If you are going to be a new customer you will need to setup a new Sky ID.

@DIRRFC  You can rejoin anytime, the only differences are if rejoining within 12 months your previous account will be reactivated but you won't qualify for new customer discount, if rejoining outside 12 months you will receive a new account number and qualify for new customer discount
