Refund credit on my account

Hi, I cancelled my Sky broadband in October 2024 and there is a remaining credit of £55 on my account.
I'd like this refunded as soon as possible to my bank account; the payment method is still active.

Can the messaging team please help me?

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you tomorrow. 

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

Refund from closed account

I closed my account in October 2024 and Sky owe me £55 credit. I'd like it paid into my bank account - my payment method is still open.

I've already done this in January 2025 when it was escalated and I was assured the money would be in my account in 3-5 working days. That didn't happen, please can this be sorted asap.

No need for a new thread so to provide some history I've merged it to the original. 

We have to allow at least 10 minutes before we can escalate your post to Sky so I’ll re-escalate it at that point and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

As it was sent on the 10th it will have been closed now as you have 48 hours to respond to it so do you want to try again ?

For the 3rd time, there was no chat bubble therefore I could not respond. Can you not just refund the money as I was told would happen in January?  Thanks.

If you’re not already aware this is a customer helps customer forum and you aren’t contacting Sky Customer Services.

 

You need to request another escalation or the alternative is you calling Sky.

No because as you can see I am a customer like you, of you didn't see the chat bubble you could either try using a different browser or you will have to call.
