Refund After Leaving Sky Broadband

Hello, I have left Sky Broadband months ago, having switched to a different provider. My Sky account has been over £60 in credit for months now as I kept getting charged after leaving, and I would like to be refunded since I don't have any other Sky services. I have returned the router and everything. There seems to be no way to contact Sky to request the refund or do it automatically from the account. How can I get the credit refunded?

@SkyPigeon

How did you cancel? Did Sky send you an email confirming the cancellation?

Re: Refund After Leaving Sky Broadband

I switched to another provider. On September 18, Sky confirmed my subscription would end on October 18, and they sent me the box to return my router in after that day, which I did.

@SkyPigeon

When was the last date Sky still charged you for the BB service?

@SkyPigeon

To see if they can help you I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you. It'll probably be tomorrow now.

Look out for a post from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

This link explains what happens.
