Just how do you opt out of sky sharing your details with all and sundry?

I've been there but seemed only about advertising from Sky. Nothing about share my information with others yes/no

You haven't commented on the plans to share address and date of birth with sky protect.

Because it's not new? They already do so.

According to the email they sent me they will start doing this from November. So seems new to me.

I logged on to my details but I can't see how you stop sky sending my phone number to social media companies. Can you explain exactly how to stop this just saying go to thenPrivacy Centre is not good enough when I can't see what to,do,when I get there.

Because they already updated the privacy notice at the same time they sent the email listing the changes.

Have done. Waiting for a reply. Also wrote to their DP dept asking them to clarify the legal framework they're relying on to do this without explicit consent. I've also asked for clarification on whether the software opt in/out options on their website are sufficient to opt customers out of all unnecessary data processing or whether a more direct and expansive objection is required.
