I can see that from Jan I am being charged £2 more a month for sky signature but my account states I am in contract until September.
should I have been informed if price increasing mid contract?

I still have the same discount as I can see that on my bill but the price of sky signature has increased before the discount..strange.

Sky seem in denial.

More likely your minimum term discounts are expiring. If you cannot agree a price you're happy with them you can give notice to leave if so.

I've had the same thing. Called Sky and they said it's due to the proce increase in April which is obviously wrong as its February and they can't charge that until April. I've raised a complaint. It looks like the price of signature has increased. My discounts are still in place and being applied, they haven't ended. The price of signature has increased since January with no warning. Will see what they say!

There are a number of customers that appear to have been undercharged for Signature (paying below list price, pre-discount). It appears they are correcting this 'error' going forwards.

When I signed the contract, I agreed to a set amount so surely they just increase without telling people. I get the price increase in April, but to randomly increase other things and not tell anyone is shocking!

You probably didn't: Sky very rarely sells that way. It's not entirely unknown, but far more customer believe they are on a 'fixed price' than actually are.

The email I have from them states an amount for the minimum term so I find that shocking if true. The contract and T&C states they must give 31 days notice before a price increase also. Will be cancelling when minimum term is up. Thank you

Read it carefully. It states the discounts (from list) are set for a minimum term. The list can (and does) change.

I'm already paying a cut down version as it went through the roof last year so had to loose stuff as it was going up to £130 a month without any broadband or internet. Now my deal is £71 going up to £78. Yes gtptmmt the end of the world but I still have a year on my contract and this is out of order and very unhappy. Nearly all my friends and family have ditched Sky and just stream so I guess it's time to go that way after being with Sky for over 30 years. Blah 👎
