57 channels and nothin' on.....that's what Brucey told us back in the day. Well, it's a few more now I guess!
I've been SkyTV-free for 3 months now and actually it was a much easier withdrawal then expected. Back to freeview HD and any add on services I require on a monthly basis. No stress of being locked into 2 year contracts. I just had enough of the petty things like charging you extra for a decent picture quality and extra for every other TV in the house.
Of course I'm bombarded by mailshots every week with super cheap comeback offers. Wonder who end up paying for all that junk mail? 😂

Did you check your TV doesn't have an input for a USB stick to record freeview stuff on?
But as you say..most channels delivered over the internet offer Watch From Start..or Watch Later

I got myself a Humax 1,000 Freesat recordable box they are brilliant..and with Freesat loads to watch sports wise. And I receive talking pictures which is my favourite film channel. So no complaints Freesat is excellent and no subscription fees anymore 👍

What a ridiculous post.. If everything is garbage and rubbish then you must a very narrow interest in life. There are dozens of fascinating documentaries covering hundreds of subjects and large amouts of live sport along with some excellent dramas... Films are a bit light but still very watchable.
I find it very strange that if somebody doesnt like something then it has to be rubbish, as if their saying I want everything in life to suit me and nobody else matters.

I am certainly not going to argue with your comedy post especially when you say there are loads of fascinating programmes on documentary channels I thought that was very funny 😁 As for me being anti sky I most certainly am they churn out loads of what can only be described as junk TV. I presume you are paying sky a subscription good for you I am very happy for you. Please don't presume you know anything about my viewing habits because you don't. As for sky I am delighted to say my sky viewing went off yesterday it's such a relief to have finally got rid of all this sub standard programming. If you would like to name just 6 fascinating programmes from the sky documentary channels, I would be very interested to see your choices or should I say fascinated to see them 🤔
