Re: Price hike April 2024

Very well put. I am arguing this point on another thread and am presently going through a complaint procedure or head against brick wall. My increase is a whopping  25% in contract.

Re: Price hike April 2024

Has anyone else not received an email or letter yet? I want to leave due to the price rises but haven't received either yet and April is approaching fast. I'm guessing my letter was lost in the post

Re: Price hike April 2024

I had an email explaining how tight times are and inly talked about rises on landlines charges.

I've had no communication informing of price hike, so just looked at info on TV settings.

To my horror, BB & Sky Q (nothing fancy, no add ons) is going up from £48.50 (shocking anyway) to £63 odd!! That's crazy expensive.

Guess I'll have to go through painful process of speaking to them.

I've heard nothing and my future bills are still unchanged......

Terms say, "We may increase the price of any of your TV subscription services by giving you at least 31 days’ notice"

🤔

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own

The issue is not the increase itself. Sky are vocal in saying how fairer and cheaper they are than other providers. Rubbish, the rest charge equally Sky do not.

Actually if read carefully the press release this year is an admission that Sky may well be applying a higher increase this year than competitors usually the inflation plus X% formula.

Check the Message section of your My Sky account and see if a letter has appeared there. Whenever any comms is sent from Sky it will automatically appear there as well.

If Sky have an email on record for you the letter will be sent to it. I guess it possible it's gone into a junk folder if indeed it's been sent yet. Sky generate the letters in batches so it's still feasible they haven't completed all customers yet.

Re: Price hike April 2024

Just checked and the message section is empty and I check my junk folder everyday and nothing has gone there. Hopefully I will get a letter in the next few days, if I don't I will ring them before April 1st 👍

Sky Signature April increase.

Sky signature you need to have to get any of the other packages is £31, they are increasing mine by £5.25 which is just under 17%. I was wondering if this rediculous amount is a standard increase.

It's the list price that increases, your in-contract discount stays the same so the bigger the discount you have on the package the bigger the percentage increase will appear.

Re: April '24 Price Increases Broadband & Phone

 @PandJ2020 @Daniel0210

yeah !! just called them again this morning, and he found there is no other offer that is lower than the price increase next month in our area, so they allowed me to cancel the contract penalty-free in 2 weeks, in April.

That's so great.

Thank you so much for your advice.
