Please pay me the credit from my account

Hi I cancelled my sky broadband last year. Sky continued to take money. This is now showing as a credit on my latest bill. Please pay me this money plus interest. Thank you

@Bhart22  A refund won't take place on the back of a forum post, no one here would now who you are or your account details.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear tomorrow you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

@Bhart22

There is no entitlement to interest.

Re: Please pay me the credit from my account

@Daniel0210 sky had no entitlement to the money they took and are holding. I imagine they do this with a huge number of customers to their benefit.

@Bhart22

You are billed up to the day of disconnection. Thereafter any overpayment (ie: between the last day of connection and the end of that billing period) will be reimbursed. When the Messaging Team contact you as arranged yesterday they'll be able to speed up that reimbursement to between 3-5 working days but as pointed out you aren't entitled to any interest on that overpayment. There's nothing underhand in this normal practice.
