Payments taken when told that it wasn’t

After leaving sky broadband and being told that no more payments where being taken. £58 taken from my account over a month later. Contacted sky only to be told I won't receive my own money back for over a month. Shocking treatment if you ask me. I'm not the only person who this happens to. No wonder all of these customers are leaving with treatment like this. Your a joke sky

You are not talking to Sky on here as this is a customer helps customer forum.

 

This might have happened if the bill had been created before you left and this can happen right up to the day you left, do you now see a credit on your account as we might be able to get you some help via here to get it refunded quicker ?

I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
