@LittleYoda  It's wishful thinking however Sky won't refund you anything as you agreed to the list prices after your discounts ended when you took out the services originally.

You could of spoken to Sky at anythim your old discounts ended to negotiate a new deal.

The onus is in the customer to do this.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Incorrect I'm afraid. You stated you cancelled Sky this week. You need to be away from Sky for 18 months before you're classed as a new customer and able to get the new customer deals which is what Currys may be offering.

Re: Payments of over £600 a year I'm pensioner

Thanks for the advice but I did ask for years all I got was it's the package and now since given 31 days notice I've been inundated with sky offers it's just upsetting and the man I spoke to said my box was actually obselite 7 years ago and don't bother returning it .I have been bought a TV as my TV now not works as has no Ariel coax cable just a scart to sky box .all so sorry I'm leaving sky half price packages etc etc etc sorry to see u go .there should be pensioners deals but no hope for that ever ,or maybe listen to us that we need help in being billed for channels we have asked to be removed .I know now I've just been left and billed for years with an obselite box, there is kindness out there but to have a selective memory is a problem when a  direct debit  rolls on years years and no one wants to address it properly .£600 + a year ,i was one of the first sky customers in  the 80s and VIP customers means nothing .I shall enjoy the kind help on other forums offering to add channels on my new TV   that are FREE  to watch .

Hello Daniel ,I am correct I was offered this price £19 I told them sky was cancelled and I could set that up there and then at the desk ,as sky is still in its countdown process I can do this ,there was no mention of waiting 18 months ,so Currys deals are a separate entity.i declined there offer same as sky reduction only cause I've cancelled .and shall enjoy my new TV ,with a saving of £64.50 a month.  .have. a nice day .

Deals through Currys aren't a separate entity. They are just an agent offering certain Sky packages on Sky behalf… but yes, as long as you were still within the notice period you could have signed up to that which would have involved agreeing to a new 18 month deal. And you're quite entitled to decline the offer.
