I have direct debit setup on my sky glass account but sky not taken the payment from my bank account yet what should i do about it

Nothing. Payments don't come out over a weekend as the banks are closed. If your normal payment date was Saturday or yesterday, the payment is likely to leave your account today. Don't be tempted to make a manual payment as that won't stop the direct debit from being attempted.

No payment still not been taken from my bank account should I call sky and talk to them about this as I have the money to make a payment today

As already stated, don't be tempted to make a manual payment as that won't stop the direct debit from being attempted.
