Payment says declined but has been taken from my bank account

Hey everyone,

 

I recently decided to pay manually rather than direct debit.

 

i paid my monthly amount but the site said it hasn't gone through (but don't worry you won't be charged).

 

I just checked my bank account and the money has definitely gone out of my account but not showing on my bill.

 

can someone please help?

Sky require you (and you agreed) to pay by monthly direct debit or by an automated card payment. 

 

It may be the automated payment Sky was expecting to receive that they're saying hasn't gone through.

Don't do that.  Any manual payment will count against next month's bill and not the current one.

 

The automated payment for this month will still be attempted.  When is this scheduled?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Does the payment you made have appeared on your account as a credit ?
