Payment for July not showing when it was paid and is now added on August bill!?!

I have paid my bill for July 2024. My August bill has charged ne for handset for July and August. Confused as to why?

Does Sky usually take your payment automatically from you each month because if they do there is no need to make this manual payment as you have done because what might have happened is that if they couldn't take your payment then they have carried the bill over and added it to next months.

 

Do you see a credit on next months bill for this payment you made ?
