Overbilling. I purchased Sky Sport for one month but have been billed subsequent months.

In July I requested one month access to Sky Sport to allow me to watch the Lions Rugby Tour of Australia.  I only wanted one month and paid the single month rate, however I continue to be billed for Sky Sport. I don't want it and I want a refund of the months erroneously billed.

No, you agreed to start paying the rolling monthly rate.  It wouldn't have been possible for a contact centre person to set up 'one month' because there's no such product.

It might  be possible to claim a refund if a call recording demonstrates you were told  otherwise.

@Leigh49

If you wanted this for just the one month then you needed to have give the required 31 days notice to cancel it when it was added to your account because if you didn't then both billing and the package will continue as it does not auto cancel.

@Leigh49

That won't happen I'm afraid. You've had access to the package throughout that period.

@Leigh49  Did you call Sky to cancel as it won't auto cancel, if you didn't I'm afraid you're liable for the charges until you do cancel.
