I recently decided to change to Sky for TV, but was told that because I had a carecall connection I would be better off keeping Virgin Broadband and Landline(linked to carecall)
I was already under contract with Virgin and was concerned about the outstanding fee which Virgin would charge for leaving their TV service as I was changing from then because of the high cost.
I was told " Dont worry about that as Sky will settle the payment". I have sent several emails to sky regarding this as I have had by bill in from Virgin quoting I owe then £210.00 for coming out of contract.
I would not have taken a congract with SKY if this is the case, was I given incorrect information from the Sales guy within Sky Sales as a scam to get me to sign. I feel very let down by this matter and it is very worrying.

Sky will not 'settle the payment' but they should credit your Sky account after presentation of the appropriate documentation. Unfortunately as the link which @Daniel0210 provided indicates, Sky will cover a maximum of £100 for television services and another £100 for broadband/voice so you aren't going to get anything like the full amount covered.
