Outstanding balance paid, can't restore acc

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I went overdue with my bills, it seems they have no been cancelled.

I have paid full outstanding costs, but I see no option to restore as listed in help. The advice given is to call, however after several attempts to call, after 50+ minutes I hang up.

I need to speak to someone, but I can't wait indefinitely every time I call only to no response, can someone advise another contact path before I'm forced to contact the ombudsman. Thanks

You can't escalate to ombudsman services until you've exhausted the complaints procedure.

Accounts can be cancelled if unpaid for 56 days.

@Skyuser648

How late were you in paying this bill because if it was 2 weeks or more you would also need to manually pay the next bill as well. You will also need to setup your monthly payment method again before your services will be restored.

If you were more than 56 days late in paying then Sky are known to cancel accounts so if this applies you will need to get in touch with Sky.

If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well and if you’re in arrears for 56+ days Sky can fully terminate your subscription (but you’ll still owe the arrears).

If that's the case with you there's nothing an ombudsman will do.

Thanks for the response, I think that could indeed be the issue, I did see that somewhere. How do you pay the next bill? Thanks again.
