Outstanding amount and received a legal letter

I used to to subscribe to sky until late last year. i was asked to retuen the equipment. Nothing was received to put the eqipment in. so never reterned. I still have eqipment. Now I've recievd a lega letter saying i oew £347.35 but does not state what for.

It will be for your outstanding debt to Sky, almost certainly ncluding charges for the equipment you haven't returned to them.

As the equipment belongs to Sky you should have returned it and while you might not have been sent something a few seconds in Google would have found you this link:

Where it would have allowed you to print you own return label and use your own packaging to return it.

The contract you agreed requires you to return the equipment - unfortunately not receiving boxes doesn't forgoe this requirement.

 

I would return the equipment immediately (as described above) and see if you can get Sky to drop the charges - but it may be too late as the debt collector will claim they've incurred costs chasing you.
