You're asking for my cancelled router to be sent back and I haven't received a return package

If you’ve successfully cancelled your subscription Sky should send out returns packaging near the end of the cancellation period, [14 days for Broadband hub and 31 days for Sky Q box(es)], to the address that the subscription was registered at. If you’ve moved to Sky Glass or Stream any Sky Q packaging is sent out a bit later in case you change your mind.
You can use any packaging as long as it’s secure and you may want to put a note inside with your account number and a list of equipment that is included. This link explains about how to receive an email with your return labels through Royal Mail.

If you haven’t anything suitable contact Sky again and ask if they’ll re-send. Keep your proof of posting safe and indefinitely and if you use Royal Mail’s collect from home service, keep a record of the tracking number.

Don't panic.
Mine failed to arrive before cancellation date (26/01). Found a suitable box and used the royal mail service where a label was created, receipt for postage given and away it went.
Tracking number shows 48hrs later that it's been received. Needless to say I will keep the receipt/tracking details etc for a few months in case i get a ...."you haven't sent it back email", despite it now already having gone back.
Needless to say - the sky provided box for the returns has turned up today (30th).

Thats expected, i wouldn't expect the returns package to arrive before your final date, the sending of it is usually triggered by your services ending, which obviously wouldn't happened until the termination date.

I'd recommend at least 12 months, if not longer.

@MarkGoldsmith Yet completely at odds with what i was told on the phone, so not as verbally ecpected at all.
"Will be there 5 days prior" was the phrase.

Cant say i'm surprised that you may have been told wrong information by the customer services agents.
I believe the logic of sending it once services are terminated as its possible during the cancellation term a customer will be offered a renewal deal that they then accept and thus the services don't get cancelled.

They were told I'm off to New Zealand (ironically still Sky TV).
No renewal deal offered as I'd expect after giving that info. Sadly NZ Sky may be a different kettle of fish, in both equipment and channel choice.
