No refund for lack of Internet connection
I've had no Internet and no landline since storm Darragh on 6th of December . A tree took the line down.
Reported it to Sky on Tuesday morning 10th of December. It took them till the 17th of January to repair the line.
I only got a measly 14 euro refund on my December bill, and now the January bill has no refund on it at all!
Not good enough. I'll be cancelling Sky shortly.

Re: No refund for lack of Internet connection
Unfortunately the Openreach auto compensation scheme applicable in the UK is not available in the ROI so I doubt any further compensation will be forthcoming but unless you call Sky Ireland and ask you won't know.

Re: No refund for lack of Internet connection
As @Daniel0210 indicates if ComReg doesn't exert pressure on ISPs in RoI in the way that Ofcom does in the UK there's little incentive for anything better to happen.
