No email available to get my message across

Hi there,

I have been in touch by telephone this morning and the agent hung up on me.  He was unable to provide me with an email address to contact Sky, hence I am using this service.

I have also been in touch by Chat, and have logged the issue but no human being has been in touch.

I wish to cancel the contract my 89 year old mother started on the 20th August.  She is availing of the cooling off period.

After her husband died, she no longer requires the services of Sky Ireland.

You might be able to track down the agent who was of no help when I asked for an email address to put the cancellation notice in writing.

Thank you.

Hi @seapointkinvara   I'm afraid that you are not talking to Sky here, Please see Welcome below on information on the community. Sky do not use email as a method of communicating with Sky. You will need to persevere by phone or chat.

@seapointkinvara

If she wishes to cancel TV see the below link
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv
Select ‘No, I still need help’ at the bottom of the link which will lead to contact methods.
(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ It may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ there’s a text option Monday-Friday 9am to 4:30pm otherwise it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.

If she successfully cancels she should receive an acknowledgment email from Sky Ireland.

If she is cancelling Sky Q, return packaging will be sent out. It’s important that she obtains proof of posting and keeps it safe and indefinitely.
