No contract with Sky but still getting zero balance bill

I have a serious illness and I've been trying to get my affairs in order. This has included needing to close my account with sky. I haven't had a contract with them since last year, but I still receive bills every month with a zero balance. It is my old address on the bills at a property I do not have access to, which to me seems a security risk perhaps as well.

 

I have emailed sky,  phoned them several times, engage in endless chats online with them and filed a complaint this week to see if someone would finally please close my account. I have just received an email to say my complaint has been being closed but I have had no contact about the complaint. I am at the end of my tether and very unwell and worried about this. Does anyone know how to terminate an account with sky please?

What Sky service is this for?

How did you cancel it?

Did you receive an email from Sky acknowledging your cancellation?!

Hi there. Yes I cancelled it by phone in August 2024 and received emails confirming it but I am still being billed every month. When I eventually get through to Sky by phone the advisor just do not know what to do. They either transfer me to another department with another long holding time before the phone is answered, although they tell me not to worry as I do not owe anything!
