New to Sky again, but bill for 1 month appears to be double cost?

New to Sky again, but bill for 1 month appears to be double cost?

Rejoined Sky Broadband and activated 30th April, therefore i assumed my bill would be the amount due plus any calls at the end of May / 1st June. Broadand fee seems to appear twice to cover 31 days or am i missing something?

How to find out why this is, estimate for July 1st bill is looking right.

How to get the information which should be sorted for 1 month only, and a possible refund?

doesnot seem easy to contact and chat was not working.

I would have payed a lot less staying with BT for the month, have i been conned by Sky?

@DavidBluepied you pay a month in advance, so the first payment covers the period from when your service was activated up to your payment date plus the next month in advance.

@DavidBluepied

Your first bill is usually more as will cover a longer period than the usual 4 weeks as per this:

Is your billing date the 1st each month, if so that first one might cover a period from 30 April to 30 June so what dates does it say it is covering ?

Not very clear, did not expect to have to pay that way.

I was expecting monthly in arrears, should be made more clear when signing up in big bold letters

It's 4.1 of the contract you agreed...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
