New to Sky Broadband, can't access details on my account.

Hi,

 

New customer to Sky and getting broadband (so haven't switched from other provider).  I was referred by a friend and need my account number to get the voucher, but I can't access any details.

 

Created account, Sky ID etc during the purchase of Superfast, verified account, but when I access my account every page is restricted. Email confirmation didn't have an account number.

 

Your Products page says 'Unfortunately we can't process your request online right now'

Bills and Payments is 'this page is restricted'.

 

My broadband is to be activated on 12th March, is it just a case of once activated, my account details will then be accessible?

 

Any help appreciated.

As you don't become a customer until 12th March it is to early to claim you voucher via the referral scheme as Sky will send you an email when you can claim and this can take up to 45 days after the activation to be sent as you have to have gone past the cooling off period first.

OK, thank you just wanted to double check, so 12th March I should be able to access my details once all set-up. Thanks 🙂

Hello!

 

I'm back! So...all set up yesterday by engineer, and recieved email from Sky 'Your first Sky bill'. I have an account number now...but everything on my account/Sky app is still restricted. Help!

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.
