New broadband deal?

Hi all, my contract with sky broadband ends tomorrow. I phoned the retentions team and they offered me 150mb for £30 a month for 2 years. I quiered if this price is "locked in" for 2 years and was told yes. Does this seem right? I thought broadband increases every April, no matter what. I have read online sky this year announced they are stopping yearly price increases for 2 years. Anyone know the situation?

Hi @Dag2492   They either didn't understand your term "locked in" or simply lied to you. I would expect two April increases.

Re: New broadband deal?

This is what I thought. A quick Google shows the daily mail advertising a new sky scheme that locks in broadband prices?
