Need help getting refund

Hi,

 

I am trying to get my refund ASAP however the chat I am currently in, with advisor Russel, is extremely unhelpful and advising there is nothing they can do until April. 

 

Contact ended 17th of Feb, was due the credit in regards to 18th-28th of Feb HOWEVER I then get charged again a full package price start of March for the March billing period. On the phone when cancelling I was advised I would get the balance of Feb credit... not make another payment to SKY.

 

Please can I have assistance from a super user or SKY expert. As far as I am aware, I can get my refund arrange within 3-5 working days for the unjust charge and my credit of £65.71 on the account.

It might be that this can only be refunded on what will have been your next billing date ?

 

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.

thank you for the quick response.

 

They are claiming this to be the case however their next billing run to credit me was the 03/03/25. And instead, charged the full package price which was not only cancelled in Jan, but conversed about over the phone again in Feb to ensure this wouldn't happen. 

After clear, timely communication I feel like not only have I been lied to, but also disrespected because I was ensured this wouldn't happen. That additional money should have been used for other bills for example my new provider. Now I'm stumped with SKY unlawfully holding onto my money
