Hi,
I currently have 5 contracts with Sky Mobile, and my daughter needs a new phone. My son is 18 and is happy to pay his monthly mobile bill from his own bank account, so I can get a new contract for his sister but I can not find any way of doing this on the website and struggle to talk to anyone at Sky these days.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Mark

You cannot transfer devices between accounts full stop regardless of being out of contract and no outstanding credit
the phone is permanently registered to the account of purchase
it's possible to have a sim only account in the sons name but the number would have to be ported to a non sky payg sim first then back to the sim on the sons account and only if he is outside the sim minimum term

Re: My son wants to pay his own mobile bill from his account
You can only pay for dataplans/devices on your account from one payment source.

Re: My son wants to pay his own mobile bill from his account
I think he has about 12 months left on his contract. I think the only way to do it is pay off the contract.
Disappointing.
Thanks anyway.

@MarkSeton Data plans only have a minimum term of 12 months so how long as he had the sim ?
as for the device you legally own that and it can't be transferred
