Apologies if this is confusing.
Okay, I spent far too many months last year trying to unpick my Sky ID from my ex husbands defunct account. Finally I managed and everything was stress free.
Except he has this year,, for reasons which I can't even guess at, used my sky email address as his new Sky ID! And on top of that a secondary email has been added which is not his, but that of his friend. I only found this out when Sky notified me that my Sky ID/email address had been used by someone for (unnamed) Sky services. I tried logging into that account to find the password changed which was infuriating. I have since changed the password.
It took me that long to unpick such a huge mess, only for him to again link himself back with me. Is there anything I can do to sort this out?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

If he is the account holder then No I don't think there is anything you can do because even if you managed to access the account you would need to provide an alternative email address and even then he could very well change it back again.
It might be worth forgetting about that email address and set yourself up a new one somewhere and use that as he will not know about it. You will need to update the address at all the websites you use but short term pain for long term gain.

Thank you. I thought that might be the case and I'd been slowly transferring things over to an alternate email as they came in.
