Hi,
Yeasterday, I discovered that We had Multiroom added to our contract in september 2020 and have been billed £15.00 a month for it ever since.
But sky NEVER delivered and/or Never Installed the secon sky Q minibox.
We have been trying to get a refund.
Sky promised us someone would call us back and no one ever did.
Thinking of going to Financial ombudsman.

You mention second minibox? Do you have one minibox?

I say second, but the 1st one is the MAIN SKY Q box.
What we never got was a minibox at all.
5 years we have been charged for this !

Ok, did you actually order a minibox? The multiroom subscription isn't just for mini's.

charge for the multiroom was included in a bundle which we didn't ask for and didn't need.
It came as part of the bnundle anyway.
So, I am wondering now, how many other customers out there have had the same issue ?

Yes, there where some deals that where dependent on having multiroom.

It may not be an 'issue' as such. (Obviously you feel differently about it)

No, my point is this.
We were paying for a service we NEVER asked for, Never used and never received.

Indeed, but that may not be a valid argument. (It was there to be used)
We can't see your account or agreed deals - you'd have to pursue complaints directly with Sky.

You received a Multiscreen subscription which you could have used if you wanted. You didn't receive a mini box as you apparently didn't order one and presumably weren't charged the admin/activation fee for one.

As I said, we can't see the account but did you not renegotiate any deal in the last 5 years or check your subs?

To view your recordings via the Sky Go app multiscreen is required.
Five years is a long time to not view your Sky bill via the app or online.

Yes, that was probably the standard 'VIP upgrade', and as the no-up-front-fee was contingent on Multiscreen being part of the subscription (whether utilised or not) then you're very unlikely to get any refund.
