Mother in contract - care home cancellation needed

I need to cancel my subscription I am going into a care home but I am in contract - they say I cannot. Is this true

They are correct, when you are in a contract you agreed to keep your services for how ever long the minimum term is,

Unfortunately as per the T&Cs the answer is yes. A contract termination during the minimum term is only at Sky's discretion and usually requires the remaining contracted term to be paid upfront if Sky do allow for the early termination.

@Pattyyyy If you are within a minimum-term contract then yes it is true, the T&C's state you cannot cancel unless you have a contractual right to do so or Sky agrees to it.
