More than 30 days notice

Hi I've got about 4 months on my TV subscription.  I know that it is 30 days minimum but can I give more notice, incase I forget to do it later

@Razta  Not unless you want to pay four months of early termination charges, as the notice period starts from the date you give it and can't be delayed

Hmm I get what you mean but its sort of stupid.  You can't give more notice,  it shouldn't be that hard to adapt the system?.

@Razta

Ideally you need to cancel 31 days before your discounts end. Just make a note on a calendar (written or digital).

I'm not sure how it would benefit Sky. And without knowledge of Sky's systems it's impossible to say how simple it would be to make the required changes to accommodate it. I'm pretty sure the system used by the front line advisers, for example, is separate from the accounting system.

Just set yourself a notification on your phone so that you do not forget.

Re: More than 30 days notice

Unfortunately that might not help.  I'm having a operation in a few months that could be really helpful or completely the opposite.  I might end up in a wheelchair unable to move.  I was trying to plan ahead as I don't have any one to sort it for me should the worse happen 🙃

I have given notice to Sky before the 31 days.  (Without triggering early termination)

However, I cannot confirm whether that works as I reaffirmed at the 31 day mark.  (Because I'm a trusting soul)

I do not know whether this is an actual thing and whether there's a time limit to it.
